I don't tend to wear full coverage on my face because it always feels heavy except for this BB cream! It feels like I'm just wearing moisturiser which at the same time evens out my skin tone and covers blemishes. My skin feels flawless when I wear it. I'd recommend it for combination skin more than anything but there are different versions for dry and oily skin which I'm sure are just as good.

I LOVE this product so so much. Benefit is my favourite brand, everything they make is such high quality at reasonable prices and this is no exception. This is perfect if you feel like you want a glowy look across your cheekbones. It isn't too sparkly and comes out insane in a picture using a camera flash. Highly recommended!

This palette has the perfect mix of shimmer and mattes and all the neutral shades you will ever need. If you are looking for a cheaper version of the urban decay palette this is perfect. The only negative is that it doesn't come with an eyeshadow brush.

This is the one product that I use every day without fail. I've tried a couple of different eyebrow pencils and they were all quite harsh and broke easily. However, this gives natural results and lasts a while. It comes with a dark brown and light brown powder, wax to set your eyebrows and highlighter as well as a spoolie and a brush.

I haven't posted in a while because I've just finished my mocks, which is a relief, but also terrifying how close I am to the real thing! To help us relax and settle back into things easier we had an Arts Day where we went to the V&A and then I went to see Matilda (for the 3rd time but I still loved it just as much as previously). The art in the V&A is incredible but it's not always my favourite. I mostly stayed in the main room which has so much light and beautiful renaissance sculptures and took LOADS of pictures. The architecture in the V&A overwhelms me every time because it is just so impressive and timeless. Matilda is an amazing show and if you haven't been I'd really recommend it... The children in it are insane, it's so impressive how good they are especially seeing as they're so young!

Here is a quick selection of some pictures I took...

I love putting photos on my walls. I think it gives a room a cosier and more lived in feel than plain walls. My room is an attic room so it has lots of nooks and crannies which is annoying for arranging furniture but perfect for photos.

In the past year, I have bought, used and developed many disposable cameras as I think they are such a cute thing way to preserve photographs! These days most of our photos are on phones or computers which can be extremely useful but it means that you don't see them that often. My favourite thing about disposables is that you take one photo and sometimes it will come out well, other times it won't but they feel so honest and candid.

I also have some polaroids which I love too, but the camera is quite bulky to carry around so I don't use it as much.

I recently rearranged all the photographs in my room and added some new ones, so I took some pictures of the finished look...

"Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure."

Misleading as this title is these books do not sit on my coffee table but either on my desk or on a shelf in my room. 'Coffee table books' is just the name I use to describe these as they are not lengthy novels but instead books filled with photographs and/or illustrations. However they are some of the most lovely books and also look pretty lying anywhere while also being very useful. I got all but one of these (Plenish) for Christmas but I have already read or flipped through the majority! A lot of these are sold in Urban Outfitters but you can also get them off Amazon for a slightly cheaper price.

This is a very cute book and the title is pretty self-explanatory. I relate to pretty much 95% of the things mentioned and it can easily pick you up on a day when you're feeling down.

This book is a must have for anyone who owns a camera or just wants to learn more about photography. I've always known the basics but this was so useful and cleared up a lot of things I was unsure about! It's not all about technical stuff, it has a lot of creative ideas and gives clear examples of some great well-known and not so well known photographers (some of which I've grown to really admire). Its not very complex or hard to understand which is perfect for anyone starting out.

This book is in the same style to the last one but focused more on portraits of people which is also very interesting but goes over a lot of the things mentioned in the other book.

I love this book so much because of the amazing photography and outfits! Just flipping through the pictures makes me very happy, but there are some snippets of interviews with some of the people pictured which is also great to read.

This is a great book for anyone who is interested in nutrition or someone who likes making smoothies! The recipes mentioned are not your average smoothies and when trying some out I had to go out to buy some ingredients that I didn't already have lying around. It also tells you a lot about the health properties of different ingredients and many are aimed at specific health issues which can be very useful.

This book just has the most incredible photos and art that I could sit looking at it all day long. There is not much more to it, but it's definitely worth buying!

My birthday party weekend! It was one of my good friend's birthday the day before so she had a cereal eating party (heaven) on the Saturday, and then I rented a hot tub for my party on the Sunday! I just had so much fun and I was surrounded by all my friends and it was also very sunny and warm.
